"Ghosts" is the first album by the Italian band G.O.D (GENERATION.ON.DOPE) who play modern Heavy Metal. Actually one can say that their music is a combination of Nu Metal with some Hardcore elements. All the members of the band but the bass player come from the disbanded Hard Rock band RAZZLE DAZZLE.
The record includes twelve songs and runs for approximately forty minutes. Other than original recordings the record includes a cover of the CURE song "Burn". All the songs go more or less in the same style of modern metal. The introductory song "J'accuse!" and "The Jackals" are decent songs to open the record but after that curve of interest makes a deep low and somewhere there the fun part comes to an end.
I think that the biggest problem of the record is lack of inspiration. I listened to it times and times again but unfortunately there was nothing to stimulate me and pay attention to the record. The vocals are mediocre, the compositions are suffering, the chorus is bleeding and I might have found something more interesting in this record if I was 15 years younger but now this doesn't appeal to me. So to cut a long story short "Ghosts" is a mediocre record you might have enjoyed if you were a bit younger and just liked random stuff but now I will just order more dope for this generation.
