Pulverised made my day with their latest SATHANAS album and I palced more than gratefully this album in my CD player for a hopefully pleasant listening session (and probably more than only one). Worship The Soul Of Disgust is the next step of Pete Flesh and I just hope that it is better than his previous ones.

FLESH is the solo project of Pete Flesh, a musician we got to know from bands like MAZE OF TORMENT, DECEIVER and THROWN. After two mediocre - in my humble opinion - albums, FLESH return with a brand new album and a brand new label to support it, Pulverised Records.

Pete Flesh returns with a brand new album that reminds us that Sweden is not here to produce only melodic stuff, but is also here to give us some pure Swedish Death Metal the old classic way. Since there are new releases by ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER, GRAVE and many other Swedish bands, FLESH are testing their abilities with their latest release. Worship The Soul Of Disgust is an album full of old-school Death Metal compositions that are really good if you think that this is the creation of one mind. Pete Flesh is definitely a great composer. The fact is that when you play something that has been played many times and you have song titles like My Penis Will Be Your Opera don't expect someone to take you seriously.

This album is suggested only to people who are into Swedish Death Metal and wouldn't mind adding one more album of this kind to their collection. Not bad, but definitely not unique...
