Rise
Fireheart

Fireheart are a UK band formed in December 2024.They are not just a band they are a brotherhood with resilience and all share a passion for music. Each band member has had their own struggles with mental health, personal loss and also self doubt but despite all this, they have come together to create something really powerful.Fireheart are not just about the music it's about survival.proving that no matter how many times you get knocked down in life, you get back up again.Kev Baker is at the heart of the band, with his social media presence about his honesty battling depression and anxiety, also his darkest moments which have built a connection with music fans who see themselves in his struggles, proving no one has to go through it alone.Fireheart is more than a band it's a movement.
I felt so humble when Kev Baker sent me this, as I have had Fireheart on my radar all year. After hearing the singles so far they have released I was so excited when "Rise" was announced. I was instantly drawn to them when i first heard them, and what they stood for.Talk about making a statement, the opening track "Wild Hearts , Wild Nights" is full on rock energy the guitar riffs are massive, the drums & bass are intense along with a solid vocal & unison backing vocals this is a trailblazer of an opening track."I Don't Need A Best Friend" has me instantly hooked with the relatable lyrics, the solid modern Hard Rock sound with alternative touches is infectious with a massive chorus which just sticks in your head. With a slower tempo it's time to catch a breath, with a modern powerful track delivered with raw emotion Russ Grimmett delivers a powerful vocal which soars,an instant likeable track which has hit record written all over it."An Hour To Forget" is another catchy flowing rock number with Kev Baker and Neil Hackett delivering killer guitar riffs & runs, the chorus is again a great anthemic singalong chorus which live will be a crowd favourite. This EP comes to an end with "I'm Not Dreaming" the riffs again strong, bold which flow along with the Brett Barnes thunderous bassline, with Chris Hopton pounding hell out of those drums, again a solid vocal and anthemic chorus.
After reading Firehearts press bio, what they stand for, after what they have been through on a personal level I have the utmost respect for these guys.I am rooting for them because this EP is superb from start to finish, five solid Modern Rock tracks that are delivered with such fire, passion and honesty.I predict big things for Fireheart in the future, and I hope after hearing this EP loads more people will get behind them.A great new UK band with massive potential.Superb stuff "Rise" is out 14th November available to pre-order at https://fireheart.uk/ .
