Excruciating Intestinal Lacerations

How should I start? They want ejaculate on human ashes, have sex with disfigured people, and their name is ENGORGEMENT, please guess what genre they play... NO, they're not New Wave of British Heavy Metal! They're Slamming Brutal Death Metal, that knows how to, well, slam. The extremely original title of their album "Excruciating Intestinal Lacerations" already explained a lot to me about the album.
Ever since DEVOURMENT's "Butcher The Weak", gore obsessed bands started producing the same shit over, and over. It got to a point where if you're not making anything slightly different or uniquely brutal, you'll end up being some underground Slam Death band. ENGORGEMENT manages to come out decent, they sound good, they're heavy, they slam well, but they're nothing new.
I really can't talk a lot about the album other than the fact that it's heavily inspired by the most recent Slam Death releases from leading bands like KRAANIUM. If you're in the mood for something very gore inspired and something heavy and mindless Death Metal fun, this album is perfect. But other than that, if you're expecting a groundbreaking Brutal Death Metal album, turn away. Sorry ENGORGEMENT, but doing the same thing like a hundred other bands isn't something wise, especially since the only thing that's difficult to work on is the guttural vocals.
