Post/Black/Doom Metal band DYMNA LOTVA formed in Belarus in 2015. This is the band's third full-length album, and is has 13 songs. "Ідзі І Глядзі (Come And See)" is the first. The opening tones are sad and angry, with what sounds like an accordion and a warning siren blares in the distance. The pacing is slow, and heavy, and the vocals are raging shouts. "Пахаваны Жыўцом (Buried Alive)" is exactly as depressing as it sounds. Can you imagine being buried alive? The feeling that you are alive but are so far under the earth that no amount of digging will get you free.

"Смерць Цалуе Ў Вочы (Death Kisses Your Eyes)" also drips with the desperate sounds of hopelessness. There is also tones of anger, mostly in the vocals, as the song swells and retreats. "Пекла (Hell)" has the sounds of babies crying, and the vocals are shrieks of pure rage. Those thick bass notes help to solidify this painful sound. "Яма (The Pit)" has another deeply depressing sound, and the vocal screams sound like someone who is burning alive. Piano and bass are locked in a mortal battle over the fate of your soul. "Nacht Hexen (Night Witches)" is a steady dose of evil and black magic. The clean vocals temper the screams with just enough sterility to leave you cold.

"Мёртвым Не Баліць (Dead Don't Hurt)" has mostly depressive qualities to it...the slow pace, the meaty bass notes, and a riff that lingers on for days. "Нязгаснае (Unquenchable)" is that hunger to find what aches in your heart, but the longer you look for it, the more it is hidden. It's like walking around with a dagger in your heart that can't be removed...a constant and unbearable pain. "Да Волі (To Freedom)" reminds you that the concept of freedom isn't free at all. There will always be those who have to bear this burden for you. Those saxophone notes are so legato in nature that they drag out like an endless week of grey skies and rain.

"Кроў (Blood)" closes the album. As the culmination of the album, it features ominous tones, and a threatening storm that will wipe the earth clean of all its inhabitants. Overall, this was a terribly depressing album that also had moments of white hot rage. Both the music and the vocals echoes tones of deep regret, hopelessness, unadulterated rage, and death. This will go down as one of the most gut-wrenching albums that I have heard in a while, and it is not for the faint of heart.
