Opening up with the catchily driven calamity within "She Got The Devil Inside" this riveting but harmonic hymn captivates you with electric furore, where singsong melody & progressively technical hooks element at a complex flair in outrè panache which unearths these striking pursuits on remedious zest. Synergising with upbeat tempos, silver lining stability & uniquely versatile vehemence with revels with jumpy punchiness, while some keyboardist artistry distils an intriguing implementation of symphonic sturdiness. Stridently forging a creative attribute in frolicking fretwork firepower expertise, chugging guitar fuzziness & epic yet synthesized juxtapositions that will make you feel good in no time while remaining very unforgettable.
Consisting of Ash Elliot on vocals; the frontman excels at a high-pitched surge on traditional pipes that roar with strong virtuosity, along with throaty shouts & quintessential singing mobility. "Winner Takes Nothing" keeps spirits towering with snappy laden rhythms, while the vocal delivery has a vivacious pattern where the rapidly swift substance on organic nimbleness manifests with wildly rushing tones & razor-sharp songwriting musicianship from double bass thumpers Matlt Baldwinson (also on guitar) & Paul Thornton. Where party folk-esque vibes merge with meaty choruses, dynamically dexterous crunchiness & audibly infectious injections of venomous yet solid leads which lacerate you with grinding but hybrid experimentation thrillingly.
"Here Comes Chaos" has a darker tonality to it, as profusely robust & rambunctious beats blast with weighty yet steely precision from hammering drummer Simon Blakelock. Lots of distinctive leaps shroud speakers with melodic transparency, as DREAM TRÖLL performs with respect to their weapons of choice. Everything sounds sublime with majesty & mesmerising contrast, constructively distilled with quirky charm amongst a distinguished but menacing jolt of remedious melody which pierces through you with elegant intrigue impactfully. The penultimate banger "Watch It Burn" flourishes with meticulous foundations in borderline immersivity, detailing in a diligently radical yet flexible fundamental in choppy but wicked stability where more creative chorus' demands you to chant along to the enthralling but idiocentric instrumentation & captivating funkiness.
Overall concluding this short 6-song record which could be mistaken for an EP right off the bat but is an actual full-length; DREAM TRÖLL showcases an inventive formulaic on not so linear revolutions on old-school but brilliantly crafted executions in diverse aesthetics of hard rocking mellow, which fuses euphonic rock maelstrom momentums with mighty subtleness. Until "As Death Rains From The Sky" settles the score with spellbinding rift which will make you marvel towards the tasteful deliveries "Realm Of The Tormentor" offers you with.
