Drapsnatt - Hymner Till Undergangen (Reissue) album cover

Today I reviewed DRAPSNATT's reissue of their 2nd album "Hymner Till Undergången". DRAPSNATT has very melodic sounding Black Metal instrumentals that will suck you in and have you asking for more. With the sinister sounding keyboarding and clean guitar riffs, "Hymner Till Undergången" is great to set the mood for any dark occasion.

"Somna In" and "Gästen" stuck out to me on this album with plenty of creepy instrumentals. I enjoy the fact that Dråpsnatt strives to not sound like any other band out there and they do a good job of that. That being said, I still believe that room for improvement is still available.

You can feel the hatred and darkness as "Hymner Till Undergången" plays through. A little too mellow sounding to me I'm afraid. I believe that this one will consume fans of melodic Black Metal, I'm sure it will pleasure your ear drums.
