DISSORTED is a Melodic Thrash Metal band from Germany and was formed in 2004. It took them ten years to release an album and this is thanks to line up changes and other issues as well. The so waited album comes in a form of an EP with five tracks entitled "I" and I must say this is the first time that I see a band calling themselves Melodic Thrash Metal, I find that to be quite weird because it is like calling yourself a Slow Thrash Metal band, if there is such a thing anyways.

Been influenced by the likes of KREATOR, ICED EARTH, METALLICA, EXODUS... it is hard to accept the Melodic theme because their music is quite fast and aggressive. "Bloodshed Divine" opens the CD with cool and soft riffs and then becomes fast, I like the vocals, it is definitely Thrash Metal with that American sound, very good drumming and very catching as well. With "Eaten Alive" the vocals variations is very good and the melodies also, very modern approach and the arrangements are killer, I guess the waiting was worthy after all, great solos too. Thrash Metal lovers will like this CD for sure, "The New World" reminds me of GAMMA BOMB excellent song, killers solos and Thrash till death.

The other two songs "The Somnambulist" and "Operation Observation" are also killer songs, good riffs, speed awesome chorus and so on, forget about Melodic Thrash Metal and just call yourselves Thrash Metal, great album, I would love to see these guys live, and the production is very good and art cover very cool as well, I mean this is a fucking good album!!
