Last Day Tomorrow

DIEVERSITY is band from Würzburg in Germany and have been playing a modern type of Metal. Consisting of seven members, these guys have been grooving since 2010. "Last Day Tomorrow" comes as their debut album with 10 energetic songs that was recently released.
"Just Lies" has been my favorite of the pack. It imparts with a fine compliment of keyboards, strong guitar riffs, enchanting guitar solo, & masterful bass demonstration by Michael Steger providing an abnormal climate. A perfectly charming, memorable, and melodic singing mixed with foul screaming on the chorus kind of like romance engulfed by anger and brutality. On "Last Day Tomorrow" drummer Dominik Waldorf delivers one of his best performances. This is a kick ass track with a wonderful chorus. No doubt that this particular modern drop, following the great guitar lick, will entice every listener, enlivening the moment.
One of the band greatest aspects is the co-vocals by the two frontmen. Thomas Garos, who has his clean vocals and powerful shouts abilities, and Bastian Gerfelder who holds melancholy like an expert sharing his emotions along with a few shouts. This duo is picture perfect. "1408", a decisive opener, is like a ticking time bomb about to blow with strapped riffing manned by the two axemen, Daniel Heß and Olav Langer adding to the great rhythm section. The song itself is a mere modern Metal output, more closely to the realms of Metalcore, straight punch to the face. "Pathfinder" continues the excitement yet with such a memorable chorus entry next to hook laden guitaring and blasting drums. A bit more dynamic, between good and evil, is "If I Close My Eyes" charming with the same characteristics as the former. "Inside Out" strikes hard yet with a measure of electronic add-ons. "W.F.Y.I.H." is a low tuned guitars scorcher with an unforgiving antagonism, displaying a mood of anxiety and a profound peak moment of an exciting soloing. Sound of keys here give mood of anxiety. Gentle sound of keys is fine connect with scream and clear singing in "Resurrection" takes aggression to the next level whilst "The Other Side" is the exact opposite with great clean vocals and amazing keyboard solo playing by Chris Walther. A melodic form of brutality joins on "These Words", very powerful track to close down this album. I suppose everyone can't wait for the next step of the art of Metal these young Germans.
"Last Day Tomorrow" is an extraordinary showcase of ruthlessness, melody, fine themes and great display of musical skills. This band combines and mix elements of Death, Thrash, Heavy, Progressive, Metalcore, Industrial and Nu Metal. The music of these seven young Metalheads will be really nice for fans of such bands as: SLIPKNOT, SOILWORK, TRIVIUM, CHILDREN OF BODOM, ILL NINO, GODSMACK or DISTURBED. Just feel the power of youth with massiveness of the music of this CD. I will wait patiently for a follower.
