Deathbound - Doomsday Comfort album cover

Deathbound was formed by three individuals, Kai (vocals), Pete (guitar) and Tommi (bass). Their purpose was to create some fresh and mind blowing Metal. A Death Metal basis with a heavy dose of Grindcore, was their choice of poison. To Cure The Sane With Insanity (2004) came to be the title to the debut album released in 2003 on Woodcut Recs, which gained well earned attention. High scores were awarded in almost all reviews, praised by fans all over the world.
Their Death Metal is really extra intense and violent! Not such a good idea for accompanying your candlelight dinner with your pink girlfriend though! These guys will satisfy your blood thirst for extreme Metal for sure! However if you like more melodic stuff it is really doubtful that they can appeal to you! The production is not that bad but sometimes you can not really distinguish the instruments from one another. This CD also includes multimedia sections that include videos for Extinct and Gasmask as well as picture galleries and wallpapers.
I really enjoy intense music but this one is so fucking full of overflowing energy! I do not think that my mom would approve of this music that much! The rhythm section at certain points is so fucking thrashing and devastating that I felt my speakers were going to  explode. Doomsday Comfort was recorded and mixed at Soundlab Studios in Sweden by Nasum's Mieszko Talarczyk. It is the last album he produced before he tragically died in Thailand's tsunami disaster. Deathbound includes members of The Duskfall, ...And Oceans and Rotten Sound and was formed back in 1995. Kai's vocals are really tough, fierce and mean and may scare you sometimes.
If your appetite for Heavy Metal is a mixture of The Haunted and Deicide, if you think that a song played below 666 million bpm is faggot music then definitely Deathbound is your band!
