Crazy Lixx are a Swedish Heavy Metal/Hair Metal & Hard Rock band. Formed in Malmö Sweden in 2002 which is led by founder and frontman Danny Rexon whose songwriting and production skills are the driving force behind the band .Crazy Lixx has had numerous line up changes in their 23 year history. They are know for their energetic stage performances and unapologetic revival of the late 80's of the glam metal sound,drawing influence from bands like Def Leppard,Skid Row,Motley Crue,Alice Cooper and Ratt. Crazy Lixx gained recognition for breakthrough albums such as “Loud Minority” ,”New Religion” and “Crazy Lixx”.”Thrill Of The Bite” is their 9^th studio album if you count “Two Shots At Glory” which included re-workings of past songs and a stunning Kiss Cover

My introduction to Crazy Lixx was the 2019 album “Forever Wild” ,which changed my musical path completely I was old school 80's. I naively thought bands like this were not around no more and wouldn't be a patch on the greats of yesteryear boy I was wrong .”Highway Hurricane” kicks the album with high energy,executed with a great chorus,gang backing vocals backing up Danny Rexon who's knocks out a great vocal.”Who Said Rock N' Roll Is Dead” is just a great track an anthem,a statement to to the doubters out there (once myself) this music is far from dead,great energy,harmonies superb guitars.”Little Miss Dangerous” is just a pure sleazy,hair metal track,its Crazy Lixx doing what they do best great tongue in cheek lyrics with a killer chorus,great ear worm,addictive to the bone!

The quality of their music continues “Call Of The Wild” is the track that the Lost Boys Soundtrack would certainly have included if the song was around at that time, it has that vampire esq lyrics ,melody and delivery.”Recipe For Revolution” is politically inclined making a statement which is relatable to the way the UK is at the moment.”Run Run Wild” is pure rock n' roll full of energy it blows your mind,this is hows its done!”Midnight Rebels” is the anthem for the rockers out there,superb sing a long,fists proudly high in the air in defiance,the guitar solos soaring through my speakers.”Hunt For Danger” is a superb melodic track with a monster chorus,Danny Rexon with that raspy tone is so distinctive with a powerful presence, the guitars,and rhythm are sublime.”Final Warning” has more anthemic energy and excellent guitar fret board intricacy.”Stick It Out” the album closer is just more energy,high octane brilliance rock n' roll gold.

“Thrill Of The Bite” just kicks ass enough said !!! .Danny Rexon and the lads just deliver a masterclass of rock n' roll from the first note to the last,ten tracks of intense energy,anthemic chorus and after chorus with that nostalgic gold sound,melody and superb production if they were around when the Sunset Strip explosion happened they would have been huge. With bands like Crazy Lixx flying the flag Rock N' Roll is far from dead!An absolute monster of an album superb.It will be without doubt one of the albums of the year.
