Hailing from Ludwigsburg Germany,Cave are no strangers to the music scene. They are a group of musicians who have been shaping the German and international metal landscape for decades. Founded by guitarist Chris Lorey, Cave was born from the idea of fusing classic old school Hard 'n' Heavy with progressive elements and a modern production.Their debut album "Out Of The Cave", released in 2024, impressed both press and fans alike. Shortly after its release, the band toured Germany and Switzerland, proving beyond doubt that they also deliver live. However, it soon became clear that having a singer Ronny Munroe from USA had logistical challenges,so an amicable split saw Tommy Laasch (Chinchilla) , a name in the German metal scene replace Ronny.As a special sign of respect "Obsession" the CD bonus track has Ronny on vocals.

With a modern style sound,heavy chunky guitar riffs "Ghost In The Mirror" kicks this album off,heavy but staying in Melodic waters,complete with a solid vocal.There is several musical directions and styles on this album "This Is Us" has this chunky deep bass line,another melodic chorus but this is fused together with a prog rock esque melody."Rise" & "Power Of Rock" are strong numbers vocally,with some great guitar runs and trickery,very much sound in the vein of Queensryche.The longest track clocking in at around 7.5 minutes is "Your Light Shines On" for the first 2.5  minutes the track begins with an orchestral instrumental,which leads into some prominent keyboard moments,with some more stellar guitar work,then the vocals drop in to deliver another solid Prog Rock track.Musically "Promised Land" is the heaviest track on the album with the more edgier vocal,heavier melody and heavy riffing throughout."Through Every Storm" delivers a key led emotional moment of the album,with a sincere heartfelt vocal,with some great guitar tones."New Horizons" is a punchy modern prog style track with some light & heavy shade."Obsession" the CD bonus track which features the former member Ronny Munroe on vocals is a guitar lead track with edgier vocals.

If you like different styles of your rock fused together then "Into The Promised Land" will not disappoint,a very solid album which is a great listen,thanks to the modern sound,also the modern production.A solid album which has a fresh and current sound.
