The musical chemistry between these two talented artists has created a magnificent modern hard rock album that showcases George Lynch's trademark riffage driven by the outstanding voice of Casandra Carson, who is set to be the next rock singing sensation. “Garden of Earthly Delights” was released on October 25, 2024 via Frontiers Music Srl. and Casandra adds “Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever meet, let alone collaborate with such a legend as George Lynch! It was an absolute honor and pleasure to work with him on this record. George’s tracks were so cool and inspiring, it was probably some of the most fun I’ve ever had writing lyrics and melodies. I truly couldn’t be more proud of this album, and I’m so excited to finally share it with the rest of the world.” I recently had the pleasure of seeing PARALANDRA open for LYNCH MOB in St. Charles, Illinois, so I was privileged to see both of these talented and gifted musicians doing separately what they now have brought together as one. My expectations are off the charts as I drop the needle down on “Garden of Earthly Delights”. 

Coming out of the chute strong on “Stranger” with the familiar George Lynch riffage that brings us back to the nostalgic 80’s feel good rocking times of putting the vinyl on the turntable and cracking those monster JBL speakers so the whole house was shaking to the rafters, and this is before the powerful vocals take center stage and create a perfectly blended concoction of music magic. Lynch creates a tease of some psychedelic melody instead of his signature shredding that gives the song an enigmatic overall feel and brings it to a whole new level. “Closer to Heaven” highlights more of the soulful vocals that is becoming Casandra Carson’s calling card as she delivers an impassioned and commanding execution that brings to mind a combination of Lzzy Hale, Pat Benatar and Ann Wilson, and it just doesn’t get any better than that. “Mind Eraser” is a true, died-in-the-wool rocker that powers in straight balls out as the hardest song so far with classic hard metal riffs, whining guitar and a devouring and meaty tempo that had me up air guitaring and singing along at the top of my lungs. Buckle your seat belts for the next two tracks “Ring Me Around” and “Run for Your Life” as both deliver strong blistering hooks that blast into hyper speed and fast, turbo riffs bundled together with feverish vocals. All good things must come to an end as we reach the final song “Kneel Before You” is a straight forward “punch you in the gut” with assertive, frenetic riffs and tempo, all tightly wound together in a metal straight jacket as Lynch reminds us all why God invented electric guitars.

When you bring together two incredible talents like George Lynch and Casandra Carson you wind up with a flawless album with flashy melodies, memorable hooks, straight forward guitar solos, and of course, all beautifully tied together with powerful stellar vocals.
