La tríada dels idiotes

Burghâsh

First, a note that it takes a lot for an artist to get his music released by a label, and as a reviewer and a consumer, I appreciate that. That said, these three songs were very poorly produced (perhaps at his request?) and there is not much I can champion about the music.

This is the first EP of BURGHASH, the successor to BURGULI. Conceived in shadows and born from the ashes of its predecessor, BURGHASH channels raw dissonance, primitive fury, and ritual atmospheres into a new sonic path. This release stands as a boundary between the end of one cycle and the beginning of another — a testament to persistence, transformation, and chaos. The EP has three songs, and "El parricida de Canaan (Abraham)" is first. It has that dirty and raw production of the FWOBM…where the treble is pushed up high and the bass pushed down low. There is also a constant buzzing running through the song. The vocals are scratchy, screamy, and the entire song has an amateur quality to it.

"El bastard de Natzaret (Jesucrist)" isn't much better, unfortunately. To say this is primitive is an understatement. They could boost the lows, and the mids, but choose instead to let that rawness fester like a sore. This song has some more depressive qualities, and still sounds very amateur. "El xarlatà de la Meca (Mahoma)" begins with clean vocal chanting. The silence is broken by a scream and more fuzzy guitars that blend together and create a fog that you can barely see through. First, a note that it takes a lot for an artist to get his music released by a label, and as a reviewer and a consumer, I appreciate that. That said, these three songs were very poorly produced (perhaps at his request?) and there is not much I can champion about the music.
