Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: BOUND IN FEAR; signed via Unique Leader Records, hailing from England - performing Deathcore, on their second EP entitled: "Eternal" (released March 12th, 2021).

Since formation in 2015; the quartet in question have a Single entitled: "Deceit" (released July 10th, 2016), a Full-Length Album entitled: "The Hand Of Violence" (released August 16th, 2019) and 2 EPs entitled: "Regicide" (released April 10th, 2017) along with this here sophomore release entitled: "Eternal" of which I am introduced to. 5 tracks ranging at around 21:09; BOUND IN FEAR arrange an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Deathcore developments.

Opening up with this haunting but daunting array in eerie darkness; an implosive combustion within this rampantly rompy strike of bombastic bangs, amplified adrenaline and boisterous but bouncy calamity explodes onto the scene like a battering ram of reverberating trembles that ring my eardrums into a blistering barrage frenzy of weighty meatiness within the massive "Cardinal Sin". Nothing but groovy contrast grovels with outrageously relentless rumbles, killer laceration tonalities & shouty throatiness from consisting vocalist: Ben Mason who roars with raspy yells that bark bellow and shout with pig squealing malevolence while guttering intensely.  Growling with scouring snares that ominously soar with deep aggression, and extremely gnarly execution. Especially in "Left To Drown" as bleeding malice shreds with primitively raw grinds, and profusely robust substance on organic pandemonium that just thunders with ruthless mayhem.

Kier Campbell on guitars frets a hybrid experimentation on quintessential virtuosity, dynamically diligent dexterity & chiselling distortion where rapidly swift nimbleness vibrantly quakes with strong rips while bulldozing blast beats from hammering crusher Alex Richins who batters his set with rambunctiously piledriving stomps - while steely precision manifests with meticulous maelstrom proficiencies, stampeding with rampaging yet potent pursuits that smack you right in the face as clobbering bruisers belt a berserking foundation in borderline firepower expertise. "My Mind, My Prison" is like a schizophrenic revel of venomous madness, thrashing with brutally ballistic hostility & tight bass audibility from Joss Wheatley, who thumps his axe with monstrous triggers and flickering chugs, as galloping frolics drills into you with full force impact. As destructive chunkiness utilises uniquely versatile vehemence with savagely sinister, yet trailblazing significance.

The penultimate track "Everblack'' slays with skyrocketing pummels that pounds you towards oblivion with concretely gritty but infectious injections dominate with fiercely fundamental flexibilities that showcases this sense of outbursting panache where outrè systematics of sturdy thuds & sulfurous soundscapes that sound like a horror film on jarring resonance which alerts an intertwining element with the sonically seamless momentum of zestfully volatile rifts that will make you break chairs over other chairs in the meantime. Complex crescendos distinguish distinctively groundbreaking chaos with the overall concluding belter: "The Harrowing"; which towers with mountainous stability, synergetic chaos and monolithic tempos that will immediately breaknecks salubriously.

Bottom line; I am compelled to say that BOUND IN FEAR is certainly a healthy overdose on some brutally engaging Deathcore havoc that revolved with an incredible amount of replayability, the songwriting musicianship & sound production surges with persistently kicking uproar that makes me want to hear a lot more. "Eternal" most surely deserves a good handful of spins, as I enjoyed a deadly experience but also an enjoyably hefty discovery that makes this performance an album of the year contender in diligently detailed abilities of titanic proportions - a bestial invasion in which needs to be examined big time, your neck will thank you.
