What can I say about one of the giants of Rock history? The masters of BLUE ÖYSTER CULT have been gathering people around their cult (pun intended) since 1967 which is a long run that only a few bands can achieve. It is needless to say that they are one of the biggest American Rock bands of all time and to celebrate that, the guys from Long Island released the incredible "45th Anniversary Live In London" to celebrate... well, what it says on the title!

The opening track from the album starts with "Transmaniacon MC" and a welcome saying to the crowd, the first chromatic riff starts to sound and then you can hear the drums, bass and the cool keyboard sound from the 70's. It was a great song to start the album since it is a cheerful one. The next song "I'm On The Lamb But I Ain't No Sheep" keeps the energetic vibe from the previous song.

"Then Came The Last Days Of May" is the first song with more cadency since it alters into more emotional and slowly parts to direct and heavier ones. There is is a beautiful keyboard solo that sounded awesome live, a shred with feelings on the keys. The "battle" between both guitar and keyboard solos is nice and you can totally picture that frame.

"Stairway To The Stars" have a lot of moments to make fun with the fans, since there's a lot of instrumental going on and there's a special part where it is almost only bass and drums - creating the perfect vibe to create a link with the crowd. "Before The Kiss, A Redcap" have the sound of claps on the beginning and then the guitar riff just hit you right in your face. It sounds so cool live and I could totally imagine myself having fun there.

"Screams" starts with a little bit of peace, but then the groove guitar riffs come in with the bass and drums. That song has some interesting vibes that were created by the vocals as well, it sounds little bit experimental at some points. "She's As Beautiful As A Foot" starts with a cool vibe, and it is a different song if compared to the previous ones.

"Cities On Flame With Rock And Roll" is all about what it says, there's is a great connection between the band and the fans, with a lot of singing, shredding from guitars and keyboard and the energy of that song is really cool. "Workshop Of The Telescope" kept the good vibe and energy from the cities in flame.

"Redeemed" is that moment at the show where you will chill down a little bit and have some time to calm down before the adrenaline hits you again. It is a very nice song to hear live. "Buck's Boogie" is that Rock N' Roll song that you will listen live and become nothing less than insane, there are tons of amazing guitar solos, keyboards and I believe that it was one of the best to check live.

"Oh, I think I hear something big coming this way now... tell me who is it?" - crowd screams: "Godzilla" and then the first guitar riffs and solos starts to sound and it is pure epicness. "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" starts pretty nice and I think that it combines with the live act, the vocals here reminded me of KAI HANSEN at some points which I believe it is really cool. "Tattoo Vampire" is that kind of Punk Rock song, fast and direct - a perfect song to play live and direct the crowd to the end of the show.

"Hot Rails To Hell" is song that ends the show and it is pure energy and heaviness, it starts with the heavy guitars, direct and precise bass and drums and the vocals are kickin' everything. That song sounded incredible live and the crowd is insane. At the end of the song, there are only claps and a lot of screams.

BLUE ÖYSTER CULT did what we already knew they were going to do and released an incredible live album with a lot of emotional and insane moments. They are still on top and it is needless to say much about them, they rock.
