Bloody Dice hail from Copenhagen Denmark. They are a Hard Rock and Metal band that fuses classic influences with modern & gritty energetic rock. Dagfinn Joensen (Vocals) from The Faroe Islands is of course from Danish AOR band Fate with the bands line up completed by Nickie Jensen a native Dane who brings a melodic edge from his time in Violmace. On bass replacing Stuart O' Neill, Jakob Haugaard who is currently a member of Iron Fire & also recorded with the band Evil, with the line up completed with Peter Larson (Drums) who was also a member of Violmace. The album was produced and engineered by the legendary Flemming Ramussen who's credits include Rainbow's “Difficult To Cure” and three classic Metallica albums “Ride The Lightning,Master Of Puppets & And Justice For All” . Ramussen won a Grammy in 1989 for producing Metallica's “One”

Opening this sophomore album “Cry War” has a groove and swagger, bold guitar riffs with a powerful chorus, a track which tackles issues in the world right now,its modern style stadium filling rock for the modem ages which is the case for track 2 “Maze”. Next up “Break The Circle” with a classic rock feel which has a Sabbath/Zeppelin feel at time with some bluesy elements, the vocals from Dagfinn Joensen are strong and powerful,a cool bass groove with some exquisite guitar work from Nickie Jensen .”The Bitch Is Crazy” which is more upbeat and uptempo oozes attitude sees Bloody Dice firing on all cylinders also full of energy with that late eighties nostalgic feel which is also the case on track 5 another rocking track

“Madness” with excellent bass skills from Jakob Haugaard.”Back To Hell” is a track which oozes with the sound of NWOBHM which gives me Motorhead and Priest similarities a real headbanging monster of a track! “Unspoken” is a track which is about fighting for what is right,a really poignant track with a powerful meaning.”Struggling To Breath” has got to be one of the best tracks on this album its heavy, its catchy guitar riffs and rhythm with Peter Larson banging those drums hard a track which demands those fists pumping the air in metal unity. The southern rock style intro to “Don't Know Where We're Going” which also has shades of that 90's grunge sound is very smartly fused together to make a monster of a track.”Face The Truth” is another solid heavy guitar laden track which ends the album strongly with momentum.

The influences of Bloody Dice are evidently  obvious, but they manage to blend them with their own sound & style to bring this fresh unique edgy modern edgy hard rock for 2025 with superb production from a legendary producer. With great songs about relevant issues and significance in the world at the moment. This is a fantastic album which will be on a heavy rotation for me for a long time. This album is an absolute must listen!
