This project began back in 2012 with Beasto Blanco put together by Chris “Brother”Latham a guitarist from Alaska and Chuck Garric. Garric who has played with Dio (1999 to 2000),also with Alice Cooper from 2003 to present. “They also brought in Calico Cooper the daughter of legend Alice Cooper into the mix originally for backing vocals for the debut album “Live Fast Die Loud”. Calico is a dancer & actress in her own right, who at first doubted herself as a singer,but soon found her voice to then become co vocalist with Garric. Beasto Blanco have gone on to tour the world, also releasing two other studio albums 2016 “Beasto Blanco” and 2019's “We Are”.

Beasto Blanco “Kinetica” studio album number four is my introduction to this band as I have never heard anything by them before!(Am I bad?).”Run For Your Life” is a great start to this album the vocals are aggressive which have the right balance with the heavy melody & heavy guitar riffs. more melodic in the chorus with Calico's backing vocals. ”Nobody Move” the vocal duties are swapped around with Calico taking the lead which is really cool, a great track modern. industrial hard rock with some nice synth  touches. ”Heavy Is The Head” & “Unreal” provide drama ,gritty riffs and melodies ,solid rhythm section with those industrial touches the perfect combination and mix. ”Kill Us Off With A Smile” has a more mellow vibe ,ballad style with Calico on vocals which just flow with the melody of the track. ”Slide” has an infectious melody with Chuck Garric giving some growling vocals that make this track very catchy ear worm rock n' roll.

”Skull Rider” is a return to that heavy dark modern rock sound with both Calico & Garric delivering vocally backed by some more heavy rhythm & guitars. ”Lowlands” is a great modern track with that Industrial touch. ”Diamond In The Dirt” takes a twist changing direction adding variety to this album more alternative rock, but cleverly leaving that Beasto Blanco stamp on the sound. ”Bad Thoughts” is heavy musically, a beast of a track that just flows again catchy. ”Fight” ends this album with one almighty bang, the breaks with the bass injection ,with Calico giving attitude vocally, the guitar solo is wicked, the melodies are fire just excellent. I really enjoyed this album. The joint vocal duties work really well, which in turn sound really cool, Beasto Blanco also find the right mix between been theatrical and dark elements. Also I love the variety in the style of tracks. The rest of the band deliver musically great drums ,bass & guitar ,a great mix and production. I will now be visiting the Beasto Blanco back catalogue! I highly recommend this album a very strong release indeed, one of the best I have heard this year that's for sure.
