Polish heavy metal band Arma's EP "Imagination Mine" is a nice heavy metal release with a nice sense of style that will introduce you to the band pretty well.

"Racing Heart" opens up the EP with some nice almost Thin Lizzy style guitar moments, some cool melodic vocals with a bit of grit to them, some cool riffs and overall a great energetic style and sound that kicks things off nicely. There's a well performed solo here too

"Emprisoned" [sic] is a bit of a heavier track, with more of a load-era Metallica feel to it. It's well performed, and the drums stand out nicely on this one, with more cool lead guitar moments too! This one had a nice attitude to it overall. "Forgotten Fleet" is bit more of a grooving track, with some kind of bluesy riffs, with a cool breakdown later on that builds a nice bit of tension, and feels a bit IRON MAIDEN in execution. This is probably the most dynamic and my favourite of the EP, with lots happening in a short space of time that keeps it feeling a bit more fresh.

The EP finishes on "Animal Instinct", which is a good finish, building up with some cool drum beats. This one feels a bit more like the first track, with some nice harmonised vocals, and a rocking chorus that gives it a good atmosphere to finish the album on, with some cool guitar playing as well, supported by strong bass playing.

The production on this release is pretty good, especially for an EP. It's all nice and clear, you can hear what's going on well enough, and the vocals and drums stand out particularly here, supported by guitars and bass that are a little too quiet at times.

"Imagination Mine" is a solid EP, with some nice focussed tracks, it would be nice to see these guys make an album and see what they can offer in that more dynamic and creative format.
