Circle Of Suffering

When the title track off ANGIST's new Album "Circle of Suffering" starts, there is a sweet groove, and you don't what to expect but it just gets better when you just wait and listen, it has a DEATH vibe to it that I dig. And when the next track "Godless" comes on, it hits you like a Mack Truck without brakes, brutal from beginning to end, even the chanting part at the end, gives you and ominous feeling.
"Silence" the third track, has some great melodic qualities, similar to AMON AMARTH, some good guitar harmonies and double bass. "Unwelcome" goes back to the brutal category, a straight up mosh and break something song.
This album has a lot of power, and it's some great Death Metal from Iceland, with some Black Metal thrown in and did I forget to tell you that there are two females in the band?! Yeah, those are ladies playing the guitars and doing the vocals. So if you like DEATH, DECAPITATED, BLOODBATH, SUFFOCATION, AMON AMARTH, (and good looking women); I suggest you pick this album up...you won't be disappointed
