Andromeda - Shock album cover

Italian Heavy Metal outfit ANDROMEDA makes a potential start to their career with their debut album 'Shock'.

It mediocrely opens with "Anime Dannate" that in my opinion doesn't grab my attention straight away but I can hear they are talented musicians. Unfortunately this opinion of the album doesn't change as the rest of the songs play in my ears.

The album seemed to remind me very heavily of the kind of songs you would hear in the background of a Japanese Anime TV Show especially throughout the duration of "Rock Shock".

Even after hearing the album a second time I am not feeling very excited; a lot of the songs lack variety and play safe with a similar structure and melody.

Overall the album is just a stone in a sea of stones; for the band to do well they really need to pull something out of the bag for their next installment.
