"Dawn Of Annihilation", recreates the future obliteration of humanity by a supreme and malevolent A. I., so says AMPUTATE. That is an interesting concept. This is their sixth release in their discography since the band was created in 2011 and their latest since " Tortura Macabra", all a pretty solid decade of hard work. Here is their latest, a thirty four minute masterpiece, but now they have an all new lineup. The new and improved band is now describing their message as , "bringing the listener to a future hopeless world where the sun is gone and humans are just there to be harvested". Well, alrighty then. This one sounds as cheerful as a basket full of puppies and kittens, lol. Death Metal at its finest.

On the first one, "Plague Upon Plague", it gets straight to the point and quickly drags you through the gate and on down on towards hell with just the vocals alone. The drums are unleashed but do eventually ease, ever so slightly and only briefly. Some unique solo work to wraps it up. I like it. More of the same starts us off again soon. Tom Kuzmic sounds great on the mic. He serves his role well. The other three madmen are doing great at riding shotgun along with him, all doing an outstanding job of supporting each other. The have a nice mix. This is controlled chaos and an honest attempt of conveying evil at its best.

Only slowing down for a few seconds, the tale of terror continues and keeps a nice rhythm but I can't help to visualize a huge festival crowd enjoying songs like, "Feeding On Thee", with everyone bouncing together as one. I would pay money to see it. There are no ballads here. I think they want us all to die, lol, but the odd thing is that they are going to make a lot of new fans, terrorizing us all along the way. So far, halfway through, it is a good terror though. More eeriness starts and continues to entertain until the end. The backing vocals start complimenting more and more. They all sound very well together. This album is a solid piece of work by everyone involved and I'm glad that I was chosen to review it.
