The Eyes of Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper is back 3 years after the "Dragon Town and he's the man behind no mask. He seems to have remembered himself as he was before "Trash and Desmond Child's influence.
He wants his younger fans to gain memories like those of his elder fans who met the genuine Alice. The title of the second track of "The Eyes Of Alice Cooper could therefore also be a title for this review: Between highschool and old school.
Listening to this work free from prejudice can challenge someone to discover Alice's brilliant past.
The mission is accompliced because the intention and the means are honest. Alice flushes the fashion this time maybe because his great reputation in the global music scene gives him such a choice. But more than that... he wants to tease us, entertain us, mock us, be sarcastic.
About the musical part now, people who liked "Lace And Whiskey, "The Alice Cooper Show, "Muscle Of Love, "School's Out... all his classic rock'n'roll monumental creations will be touched by this new album. Others who got to know Alice Cooper through "Trash or "Hey Stupid may be surprised and confused.
"The Eyes Of Alice Cooper couldn't be mentioned in the future neither as a masterpiece nor as a failure of the artist. Personally I recommend that you paid attention especially to "What Do You Want From Me?, "The Man Of The Year, "Bye Bye Baby, "Love Should Never Feel Like This and "Backyard Brawl. There are no variations in the level of the songs though. The result of Alice's attempt to be back in the future may not be astonishing but it is undoubtedly decent.
