One of the UK's most loved mash up bands SKINDRED truly made the ground shake when they played a headline set at Rock City, Nottingham on 24th January. Supported by Metalcore trio SOIL and international Rock band VIZA, Rock City was packed with Reggae and Metal fans coming together for one massive party as both bands played various hits the crowd loved.

First band on the stage were VIZA, the international Rock group which were highly loved by everyone with their highly unique sound. If you love bands like GOGOL BORDELLO and SOCIAL DISTORTION then you're bound to be a fan of the Los Angeles Rockers.

SOIL quickly got the crowds warmed up for the night ahead with people in every corner of the room moshing.  The trio played a mix of songs from old and new albums which certainly pleased the audience when the classics were played, Ryan McComb's vocals are still as great as ever and show no signs of wear when singing songs like ''Breaking Me Down'' and ''Unreal''. But what made everyone happiest was the covers of ''Black Betty'' by RAM JAM and ''37 Stitches'' by DROWNING POOL finally ending with the highly demanded hit of theirs ''Halo'' which everyone was singing along too. The most anticipated band of the night SKINDRED is playing Rock City, Nottingham on the 3rd date of their UK tour supporting their latest release ''Kill The Power''.

Benji Webbe is a legendary vocalist to say the least, he knows how to get the crowd singing along to any song old or new with them raving along also. The rest of the songs is a mix from old and new albums before breaking into a small remix segment combining ''Babylon'', ''Niggas In Paris'', ''Intergalactic'', ''Jump Around'', ''Don't Stop Me Now'', ''Omen'' and ''We Will Rock You'' which had the Goths jumping along with the beats. SKINDRED played hits from there on such as new track ''Kill The Power'', ''Nobody'', ''Trouble'' and ''Pressure''. Webbe leads the band back on stage after an encore from the fans to play ''We Live'' and everyone's favourite ''Warning'' which incorporated everyone into taking part in the infamous Newport Helicopter. Shows like this are why SKINDRED are the undisputed kings of mash up Metal and know how to get the crowd rocking from head to toe.
