It's Sunday 7.30 p.m. and quite a few people are outside AN club waiting for the gates to open for Manilla Road and the supporting bands, Battleroar, Stendor and Ancient Flame. After a while the doors opened and everybody was waiting for the first band to step at the stage. Behind the drums, two large Manilla Road banners were decorating the scene giving a special tone.

In a couple of minutes the first group from Crete stepped on stage, Ancient Flame a band of young people with passion who played some covers like Heavy Metal Angels and Alison Hell and their power metal songs warmed the fans up and got a great a applause after getting their part done.

After a short break Stendor were up on stage. A power band with a great singer and drummer excited the audience even more. They played most of their stuff and 2 covers.

Well after Stendor finished their set Battleroar were on stage (this band needs no introduction). They plugged their guitars and the epic hell broke loose – an introduction of what would follow. They played all their epic songs from both their album and single and the best part was when the singer called Mark Shelton on stage to sing The Ram while Battleroar performed. Needless to say that the whole hell broke loose when Shelton's Voice was heard.
After completing their set Battleroar were called up for one encore while longswords where swinging in the first lines of the crowd. It was time for the ultimate cult group from Wichita.

Mark Shelton and his band entered the stage. The whole crowd was in some kind of ecstasy, all singing along Manilla Road or Mark Shelton's name. The atmosphere was great with the best omens for the concert's start.

Some of the songs Manilla Road played were (in random order):
Masque Of The Red Death / Death By The Hammer / Far Side Of The Sun / Dig Me No Grave / Mystification / Dreams Of Eschaton / Queen Of The Black Coast / Hammer Of The Witches / Veils Of Negative Existance / Witches Brew / Cage Of Mirrors / Open The Gates / Divine Victim / Isle Of The Dead and Necropolis

For over 2 hours they pounded us with pure epic metal, Bryan Patrick gave his best vocals to support Shelton while Mark's thrill & excitement was obvious when he said that for this crowd Manilla Road still exist…

After Manilla Road finished their set all the supporting bands entered the stage to give Mr Shelton a huge Thanks for what he has given to heavy metal. Generally this was one of the best concerts I have ever been and I hope groups like that will keep coming. I would like to express my special thanks to the organizers of the concert. Keep' em coming!
