Once again we are back at Montanha's Bar, a place in the town of Limeira two hours from the capital Sao Paulo City, actually a place that is slowly becoming a major hot spot for Metal concerts in the Sao Paulo state. As a matter of fact with a far better infrastructure to make our counterparts in the big cities to really rethink about what they are doing and their organization as well, also concerts tickets and beer price at Montanha's Bar is far cheaper, therefore having all the ingredients to make every show a great one and this one was no different.

That night our main guests were Canadians KATALKYSM and they were on good moods, coming to Limeira from Rio De Janeiro where they played the night before and taking in consideration that they only had three hours of sleep I can say they were on good moods and very friendly people  as well. We would have had three bands doing the warm up but unfortunately local Heroes CIRCLE OF INFINITY had to cancel their performance on the last minute, their lead singer and guitarist Edson Moraes was a victim of a car theft, him and his wife were held at gun point when he was parking his car outside the venue, even though the police managed in finding his car he was held at the police station to sort out bureaucratic issues therefore not making back at the venue on time to perform.

The show had to go on and the first band to go on stage was DISORDER OF RAGE, a band from a town nearby called Mogi Guacu, born in 2000 they play a mix of Death and Thrash and they set were just that, violence, fast tempo, double kicks all the way and sharp solos "Blind Devotion" set pace for the whole set followed by "Insane Mind Creations" and the crowd went crazy when they announced "Vai Si Fude" in English translates to "Go Get Fucked" a song for all those people who think they are better than everyone else. A very good performance from these maniacs from Mogi Guacu.

Setlist:
1. Intro
2. Insane Mind Creations
3. Blind Devotion
4. Farsa
5. P.A.I.N.
6. Vai Si Fude
7. Blood Satan
8. Into The Pit
9. Infected
10. Hate, Blood, War
11. Resist

Next on the bill were SANGRENA, also a band from nearby, actually from a town called Amparo, formed in 1998 they play a straight forward Death Metal influenced by MORBID ANGEL / HATE ETERNAL that is what they do, fast tempo songs, guttural vocals and very heavy, their only full album was released in 2009 entitled "Blessed Black Spirit" and their set was based entirely on this album and they kicked it off with "Infernal Domination" a total blast right on your face, with complex riffs, deep vocals and catching solos, "Land Of Scorn" and the pace did not change, SANGRENA showed lots of energy and therefore delivering a very powerful and tidy set, just like the bands that they like so much and influenced by  would have done, a great job indeed.

Setlist:
1. Infernal Domination
2. Land Of Scorn
3. The Ninth Prophecy
4. Blessed Black Spirit
5. In Sacrifice
6. Curse By Revenge
7. Abyss Of Souls
8. Reign Of Illusions
9. The March

Next on the bill then, KATAKLYSM were more than ready for this, and so was I, after spending the most of the evening with bass player Stephane Barbe drinking tones of beer, the band came on stage and the crowd was screaming and shouting like maniacs and the combination with the Brazilian heat all hell was ready to break loose and eventually it did. Maurizio was the last one to come on the stage and when he did it was to deliver "Prevail" everyone could not believe in such a display of power, sounding wise it was perfect and it was only the beginning and them there was all about venom with "Push The Venom" and everyone felt "Like Angels". Maurizio's charisma just overwhelmed the crowd, song after song when he talked to the crowd they were just going crazy, you are "At The Edge" "Talking To The World" there is "Fire" "Let Them Burn" and these maniacs singing together with the band, I spoke to people who came from as far as 300km away to Limeira and they went home with a big fat smile on their faces.

KATAKLYSM have delivered a powerful performance with no mistakes or bullshit, a professionalism and charisma and showing that they are all about Metal  and that is it. Montanha's Bar has done it again, an excellent place for Metal concerts and also C.O.I. Productions have organized again a perfect concert, no complaints whatsoever.

2. Push The Venom
3. Like Angels
4. Like Animals
5. As I Slither

10. Let Them Burn

13. In shadows and Dust
14. Crippled And Broken
