CHEVELLE rocked the Tulsa Theater Wednesday, July 24 with support from TIGERCUB and RETURN TO THE DUST, playing to a huge crowd. It was a fantastic night with incredible energy and great music.

RETURN TO DUST kicked off the night with their grunge-inspired performance. They are out of LA and seem to be coming up in the rock music scene having been on this tour and soon to be on tour with SEVENDUST for their Seasons 21st Anniversary Tour beginning in September. Landing spots on tours with two big rock names is sure to get them noticed and earn them a following. They had tons of energy to start the night and may be a band to look out for in coming months, especially for fans of grunge.

TIGERCUB is a fun rock band out of the UK and gave Tulsa a performance to remember. I really dig this band's music and their stage presence was a hit  as well. I think they were the perfect choice for direct support on this tour. They've got great energy and catchy songs, and could become even bigger in the rock world. I hope to see more from them in the future and they've definitely earned a follow from me on Spotify, as well as a spot in my regular music rotation. I have a feeling plenty of others in the crowd on this night feel the same way.

CHEVELLE is one of the most prolific modern rock bands and they have not stopped pumping out hits since the release of their highly acclaimed album "Wonder What's Next" in 2002. They have an impressive catalogue filled with a multitude of well-known songs and they are just as important to rock music now as they were then. Tulsa Theater packed the house for them on a Wednesday night and it was just the thing fans needed to make it through the rest of the week. There's nothing like a rock show full of your favorite songs to get that surge of energy needed to make it to Friday. Fans were screaming all the words right back at the band. They played plenty of crowd favorites while still performing heavily from their most recent album "NIRATIAS" released in 2021. In fact, they performed at least one second off of every album except their very first (Point #1, 1999). They are pros at pleasing their fans and putting on a magnificent show.
