This year's 'Sweden Rock Festival' just added WINGER in the billing. Here the official announcement:

"Not only was WINGER one of the biggest melodic hard-rock acts in the late 80s/early 90s, they were also bonafide world-class musicians. Front-man Kip Winger used to play bass for Alice Cooper, drummer Rod Morgenstein came from the Dixie Dregs featuring Steve Morse, and guitarist Reb Beach has since gained even greater repute with DOKKEN, WHITESNAKE and NIGHT RANGER. The band split up in 1994 after three albums, all of which are undisputed classics and containing such hits as "Seventeen", "Miles Away" and "Down Incognito". On their comeback album "IV", released in 2006, WINGER managed to transcend into more "serious" territories while still keep their old fans happy and more. WINGER 's greatest asset was always their musical talent, not how cute they were 20 years ago. They prove this once more on their fifth and current album "Karma", and will undoubtedly do so at 'Sweden Rock Festival' as well."

The promoters also added THE QUIREBOYS, POINT BLANK, PENDRAGON, DEATH ANGEL and BLACKBERRY SMOKE.

'Sweden Rock Festival' will take place on 9-10-11-12 of June at Solvesborg.
