Avant-garde metallers VULTURE INDUSTRIES have named their forthcoming third album 'The Tower'. The Norwegian band's Season of Mist debut will hit the stores on September 27th (October 1st in North America). 'The Tower' was recorded at the Conclave & Earshot Studios in Bergen and produced by frontman Bjørnar E. Nilsen himself, who also happens to be one of Norway's foremost producers. ENSLAVED's Herbrand Larsen handled the mixing, and the album was mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (OPETH, KATATONIA, DEVIN TOWNSEND, IHSAHN, ENSLAVED).

VULTURE INDUSTRIES are due to hit the road in September for a series of European dates guesting LEPROUS on the first leg of their European Coal Tour. Starting in the band's home country on September 13th, the tour routing is as follows:
/9: John Dee, Oslo, Norway
/9: Tribute, Sandnes, Norway
/9: Buddy, Drammen, Norway
/9: Parkbiografen, Skien, Norway
/9: Musikken Hus, Gothenburg, Sweden
/9: Debaser, Stockholm, Sweden
/9: Nosturi, Helsinki, Finland
/9: A2/Sputnik, St Petersburg, Russia
/9: Tapper Club, Tallinn, Estonia
/9: TBC, Gdansk, Poland
/9: Progresja, Warsaw, Poland
/9: Kwadrat, Kracow, Poland
/9: Alte Zuckerfabrik, Rostock, Germany
/9: Beta, Copenhagen, Denmark

With a live career spanning nine years, VULTURE INDUSTRIES deliver live performances that are known both for their technical skills and Bjørnar's eccentric and somewhat manic antics, which gained the band a multitude of fans over the years. "We are thrilled to have been invited along on this tour", he comments. "The route covers areas we haven't toured much in the past, and we are eager to visit our East European fans in Russia and the Baltic for the first time. The more extensive visit to Poland is also a welcome one. We're particularly happy to tour alongside LEPROUS and in general we will have a good amount of playing time on this tour, so we will get to quench the thirst of our fans temporarily."
