SONS OF AEON, the new Jyväskylä, Finland-based metal band featuring formerSWALLOW THE SUNdrummerPasi Pasanen, has inked a deal withLifeforce Records. The group's debut album is scheduled for release in early 2012.

Commented the band: "SONS OF AEONis happy to announce that we have joined theLifeforce Recordsteam! We feel we found a great home for our music and we're looking forward to rolling our sleeves and getting to work.

"We're currently writing more music for our upcoming debut album. We'll let you know when we have some more detailed information."

SONS OF AEONrecently made three songs available for free download via the group'sofficial web site. The drums were recorded atStudio Watercastlein Jyväskylä, FinlandbyArttu Sarvanne, while guitars and bass were recorded atSONS OF AEON's home studio and the vocals were handled byTeemu Liekkala. The mixing and mastering was taken care of byAntti Malinen.
