Heavily influenced by the 70's and 80's hard rock and occult/shock rock Silhouette brings forward their very own unique take on melancholic and dark rock music. Aileen consists of three tracks of stunning guitars, psychedelic organs and howling vocals on a limited hand numbered one-sided 12" exclusive EP released by Deadbangers Productions.
The narrative of the title track "Aileen" takes place in a fictional universe - based on real events - where a man falls in love with a psychopathic prostitute serial killer. The striking story is delivered with a tight and heavy approach, where Eric has replaced the characteristic organ with guitar.
"Death" emphasizes Silhouette's progressive approach and will to experiment and expand its own boundaries. "My Avidity" kicks off with the sound of classic riff-based rock, which in the third part passes into psychedelic and melodious passages.
The first 100 copies are on deep abyss blue vinyl. Each and every one with uniquely hand created decorations and drawings on the blank B-side made by Silhouette main-man Tobie in a psychedelic rush! All designs have some sort of relation to the band, and not two of them are alike. 200 copies are on regular black vinyl.
The band started out in 2012, and debuted in 2015 with the EP Die the Fire.
