The Cheats were formed in the winter of 2001 and decided to make the kind of music that was missing in their hometown of Pittsburgh. An old-fashioned punk rock 'n' roll band in the style of the late 70s. The band around vocalist Todd Porter (aka Todd Cheat) has traveled many miles on tour and adopted the DIY punk attitude that is so crucial to the scene.
