Italy's mysterious act RASPAIL have officially started writing their highly anticipated second full-length album. The debut album "Dirge" was released through the German label Sick Man Getting Sick Records in 2016 and received very good feedback from around the world.
Featuring ex and current members of Rome's veteran bands such as KLIMT 1918, NOVEMBRE and ROOM WITH A VIEW, RASPAIL have initially named early KATATONIA, PARADISE LOST and OCTOBER TIDE as main influences, but their harsh yet eerie sound filled with drone, post rock and nu-gaze vibes has invited critics to draw comparisons with such acts as EARTH, NADJA and BELL WITCH.
It will not take RASPAIL long to capture your interest, but with each new spin "Dirge" will reveal new details that make their discovery worthwhile.
