After a break "Metalliance", the compilation series issued by German online Rock magazine www.powermetal.de returns with volume 3, including eleven rock gems that the editors felt need to be heard by the music fans out there!
Staying at home? Of course, we can do that, but then we need new music! "Metalliance Volume 3" helps with ten previously unreleased songs and one rare track from metal legend JAG PANZER. A strong mix of eleven bands from Germany or the USA, well known or underground bands, make up the content of "Metalliance Volume 3". The highlights are, of course, Jag Panzer, whose cover version of Gordon Lightfoot's classic track was only available on a rare, limited 7" vinyl single and is featured here on CD for the first time, and the unreleased song from Bay Area metallers My Victim featuring guest singer Mark Osegueda from Death Angel. But the compilation also contains great German acts. The new version of 'Lost' from Infinity's Call also features a prominent guest, a real AOR legend, Paul Sabu, and Goblins Blade is the new band of Jörg M. Knittel, known through his work with Dawn Of Winter and Sacred Steel. A peek into the German underground is the band hymn from Mission In Black, newly recorded with their new singer, and the band Avian from the Lake Constance area that returns after 17 years in hiatus. Unreleased tracks come from two other US Bands as well, Power Theory and Dark Arena, and for all the doomsters out there B.S.T. from Hamburg provide a new song. Trond Nicolaisen from Tomorrow's Outlook was in a daring mood when he chose the song for this compilation as he decided to cover the song 'Immune' from Lethal. But what can go wrong when you have Todd Michael Hall from Riot V on vocals? The last track is an instrumental from Texan guitar legend Ron Jarzombek (Watchtower) that will blow your mind!
