Alice Cooperwas presented with the Icon award at the ceremony, which was once again hosted bySLIPKNOT/STONE SOURfrontmanCorey TaylorandANTHRAX/THE DAMNED THINGSguitaristScott Ian.KORNwas added to the magazine's Hall of Fame, whileDEF LEPPARDwalked away with a trophy for inspiration.

Cooperwas given his award for his four decades in the spotlight as well as pioneering theatrical shows which inspired acts suchKISSandMARILYN MANSON.
