OVERHAUL RELEASES FIRST MUSIC VIDEO FOR SINGLE 'BLUE BOX'.

Dutch alternative metal quintet Overhaul has released their brand new music video for 'Blue Box', the lead single for their debut album 'Notes By An Unstable Muser', to be released this spring. The video was shot by Roelof Tijdens in two nights between Christmas and New Year's Eve at the Muziekgieterij in Maastricht. The track is available on the band's Youtube channel as well as on Spotify.

The band states that "Having played there before, we really liked their large, empty attic and decided it would be a very great location to shoot a video. Our connections with the Muziekgieterij allowed us to leech on them-and their night's rest, as we only worked during the night. As for the video, it's mostly just a good old performance video capturing our energy and the atmosphere we try to create during our live shows."

'Blue Box' is a song about endings and not being able to let someone go. This romantic lyrical theme combined with heavy, Meshuggah-like riffs make for a refreshing romantic sound that isn't often heard in complex metal music. All in all, with 'Blue Box' Overhaul deliveres a strong and dramatic track that represents the melancholic feel of the album pretty well.
