Nominated in 2012 for Classic Rock's Roll Of Honour 'Best New Band' Award, MONSTER TRUCK were proud to take home the 2013 Juno Award for 'Breakthrough Band of the Year' this April. In May, the band released their debut album 'Furiosity' via Dine Alone Records to widespread acclaim, both from critics and touring partners, including guitar legend Slash, who is regularly snapped wearing his 'Don't Fuck With The Truck' t-shirt and pimping the band on his Twitter.
On the touring front, MONSTER TRUCK recently completed a run with Alice In Chains. Some of those lucky enough to have tickets for that tour caught Monster Truck fan and AIC man Mike Inez guesting live with The Truck on song 'Sworded Beest'. Mike took to Facebook after one show to exclaim, "I got to sit in with the MIGHTY Monster Truck tonite for a song at the Budweiser Arena. Fucking right!! Sworded Beest was loud as hell."
