Swedish Southern metal band Methane has signed a record deal with Sony affiliated Dark Star Records and is now in planning for the release of the band's first full length studio album entitled "The Devil's Own". Methane have released 2 EP singles 'Southern Metal' 2014 and 'Spit on Your Grave' 2015 including 2 music videos. Methane was also featured in the world's first E-novel with music in 2015 and chosen to compete at The Hard Rock Café's global battle of the bands, ' Hard Rock Rising', 2 years in a row making Methane the first ever metal band to perform at the Hard Rock in Stockholm Sweden.

Methane is now finishing up it's 2016 Scandinavian tour campaign at the Heavy Metal Heart Festival on October 22 in Helsinki Finland followed by some local Swedish dates .

Methane formed in 2012 by brothers Tim Scott (Revenant/HatePlow) and Dylan Campbelland Tim's longtime friend and guitarist Jimi Masterbo. They quickly recruited drummerAndreas Strom and released an E.P. single, entitled 'Southern Metal' and now promoting'Spit on Your Grave' 2015. Methane has toured the U.S.A. and Scandinavia. After this year'sEU tour the band is planning to return to the U.S. after the release of the new album.
