Gambling is the number one reason that travelers visit Las Vegas each year. However, the music scene found there has also become an attractive reason to visit. The rock and metal music genre has long been associated with gambling, whether it's through their songs or perhaps providing inspiration for a slot machine game. There are many different rock and metal bands that play in Las Vegas.

Iron Maiden / Ghost

On July 3[sup]rd[/sup], the English heavy metal band, Iron Maiden and Swedish band, Ghost are scheduled to perform at the T-Mobile Arena. This tour is named for the group's first ever double studio album which debuted at number one. Reserved parking for this event can be found at New York-New York, Monte Carlo and the Aria Casino.

Def Leppard, Poison and Tesla

Three mega metal groups with be featured in this concert on June 17[sup]th[/sup] at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. This tour is significant in that it will be the first time in five years that Poison will feature all original members. Many fans expect this to be an epic night of hard rock and roll. Def Leppard recently released a new album on February 10[sup]th[/sup] and is expected to play new tunes along with their classic hits.

Las Rageous

Another reason for heavy metal fans to head to Vegas is the new music festival, Las Rageous.
