MAGE: Sign to FATangel Management.
April 3, 2018
FATangel Management are excited to announce that the latest signing to their already outstanding roster is Stoner / Doom / Metal outfit Mage.
Formed in 2010 by Ben Aucott (guitar) and Andy Moore (drums) previously of stoner rock outfit Outburst, they were subsequently joined by Mark Challis (bass), Tom Smith (vocals) and finally, recruited Extreme Noise Terror guitarist Woody Woodfield.
Five years and three well received releases later, the death of Ben in 2015 has not stopped the music. They fight on as a four piece and remain 'Goddamn Heavy'.
Their stoner roots fused with doom and eclectic metal and rock influences means whether you enjoy blazing up and blissing out, knocking some back and getting in the pit or anywhere in-between, Mage invite you to come worship at the altar.
"Mage are one of those bands, if you mention their name to metalheads they pull 'the face' and say they are amazing!", states Dan from FATangel Management
Mage have commented:
"We're very pleased to finally be officially working with FatAngel. Since working with them at Bloodstock in 2016 we've kept close ties and they've continued to help us on many occasions as an unofficial member of the family, for which we've always been extremely grateful. We're currently writing again for the next release and looking forward to a productive and exciting year with their help."
The FATangel Management team is comprised of Dan Carter, Chris Sams and Angel Merry, who all have this to say about their latest signing:
"Having worked with Mage numerous times in the PR capacity, we knew that we got on well with the guys and had been thinking for a while that they would fit really well into the FATangel family. When we saw that they were looking for representation, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to work with them once more, this time in a more rounded capacity, helping with booking, PR and also management duties. We are looking forward to see what the future holds for them and being a part of their progression in this crazy world we call metal."
