Portland, Oregon's most devout riff worshippers, Lord Dying are kicking off their year with an extensive European tour supporting Cancer Bats.
Almost a year on from the release of their most recent album, Poisoned Altars, Lord Dying will be leaving it all out there on stages across the continent throughout January and February. Having last toured over here at the beginning of 2013 (with label mates, Red Fang), Lord Dying will be looking to leave an indelible mark on Europe this time around.

Poisoned Altars was recorded with Joel Grind of Toxic Holocaust (Coliseum, Black Tusk, Poison Idea) at his studio in Portland, and released last January via Relapse Records to wide critical acclaim. The album sees the band build upon the foundations laid by their debut, Summoning The Faithless; on this release their sound was more confident, more mature, and heavy as hell.
Lord Dying have packed a lot in to their five years of existence. Rarely off the road, the band have notched up countless shows in both Europe and the US with the likes of Yob, Red Fang, Ghost, Ramming Speed, Toxic Holocaust, Black Tusk and many more. They're on a long term mission to deliver their unique blend of sludgey riffs and head-banging aggression to the masses - one at a time if necessary.
