Norwegian Progsters LEPROUS have wrapped up work fortheir newest studio album, which follows up 2013's acclaimed "Coal" release. The album will be entitled "The Congregation"and is to be released on May 25th,2015 in Europe and June 2nd, 2015 in North America viaInsideOutMusic.

LEPROUSvocalist and keyboardplayerEinar Solberghas checkedin as follows about the album:
"This has without doubt been the mostchallenging album to write so far, if you count the amount of hours, blood, sweat and tears behind it. Which makes me extra proud to just havedeliveredthe master of what I consider to be the most daring, technical, fresh andmature album we've ever done. The music of "The Congregation" ismostly written by me on mycomputer, so that I this time around could use my earsinstead of my knowledge as the main writing tool. If you use your knowledge andyour usual methods to write every album, youwill eventually find yourselfstuck in a quagmire of old habits. Lyrically "The Congregation"covers the dangers and consequences of blindly following the flow, thus thealbum title willspeak for itself."

LEPROUS have recorded the drums, guitars and bass fortheir new album in Sweden's Fascination Street / Ghostward Studios with DavidCastillo (Katatonia, Opeth) and the vocalstogether withHeidi Solberg Tveitan & Vegard Tveitanat Mnemosyne Studios in Norway. Just like thepreceding albums"Bilateral" and "Coal","TheCongregation" was mixed byJensBogren at Fascination Street Studios(Opeth, Symphony X, Kreator).

Next to some previously announced festival appearancesand the newly added show at Fortarock in The Netherlands in June, LEPROUS arenow revealing the first dates for theirextensive European headlining tour insupport of "The Congregation" for September-October, alongside Rendezvous Pointand another yet to be announced main support act.
