Brighton's Death/Thrash mob KING LEVIATHAN have had a busy nine months since their inception last year. Playing shows across the country, including a slot at Mammothfest, they ended 2014 with a bang supporting Darkest Hour off the back of their debut self-titled E.P and video for single 'King Under The Mountain', continually gathering more avid supporters to 'the cult' of Leviathan.
Adam Sedgwick, King Leviathan guitarist/vocalist commented:
"It's been a crazy ride so far! We never thought that in our first year as a band we would go from our first gig last year, to a festival booking with some huge bands we are genuine fans of! picking up a management deal, people from around the world buying our debut E.P, dropping a video, interviews, radio shows, then rounding off the year with a main support slot to an international touring band! It's been nuts!"
However, KING LEVIATHAN have only just begun their quest for global domination and have set about making 2015 their biggest year yet!
King Leviathan have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds needed to film their next music video.
Adam Sedgwick adds:
"After the release of King we immediately knew we wanted to make another video, but with the costs of recording our next e.p already looming large we had to think of a way of raising the £700 we would need as a bare minimum to get this done. Someone suggested Kickstarter so that's what we did! It gives our fans a way to get DIRECTLY involved in our next step forward".
The band have offered plenty of pledge options from £5 to £500 and rewards including having your name on the back of a T-Shirt, Vocal / Guitar lessons, being in the video itself, private gigs and more! KING LEVIATHAN head into the studio on the 9[sup]th[/sup] of February to begin recording their new E.P. with producer Paul 'Win' Winstanley at the helm.
Win's work with bands such as Sea Bastard, Core Of Io, Porshyne and more will mean this next release will be a major step up from the band's debut E.P! Expect five heavy, fast, in your face tracks, with an extra helping of soaring highs, guttural lows and brutal riffs aplenty!
