It's now official: British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN will headline the 2011 edition of Australia's 'Soundwave' festival, with SLAYER, SLASH, ROB ZOMBIE and AVENGED SEVENFOLD also joining the bill.

The dates are as follows:

February
26 - Brisbane, Showgrounds
27 - Sydney, Eastern Creek Raceway

March
04 - Melbourne, Showgrounds
05 - Adelaide, Bonython Park
07 - Perth, Steel Blue Oval

In addition, IRON MAIDEN will also play two arena shows prior to the festivals with first ticket access for fan-club members:

23 - Melbourne, Hisense Arena
24 - Sydney, Entertainment Centre
