Relapse Records has announced the signing of "true American heavy metal warriors" CHRISTIAN MISTRESS. The Olympia, Washington-based band will enter the studio next month with Tim Green (MELVINS, THE FUCKING CHAMPS, MONOTONIX) to begin recording the follow-up to last year's "Agony & Opium" for a late 2011 release.

CHRISTIAN MISTRESS — Christine Davis (vocals), Jonny Wulf (bass), Oscar Sparbel (guitar), Reuben W. Storey (drums) and Ryan McClain (guitar) — released its full-length debut, "Agony & Opium" in 2010 to critical acclaim and as toured alongside THRONES, SLOUGH FEG, and more in support of the release.

CHRISTIAN MISTRESS will perform in the Northwest this weekend alongside SLOUGH FEG and WITCH MOUNTAIN. Tonight's show is in Portland, Oregon at Plan B and the bands will be in Seattle, Washington tomorrow at The Highline. Additional tour dates will be announced shortly.
