Coming off of a successful Carnivore performance at the 2017 Black N Blue Bowl pre-party, Marc Carnivore is pleased to announce the worldwide stage debut of his new project, Circus of Steele.
Comprised of former and current members of Retaliation - The Ultimate Carnivore Tribute Band, Genitorturers, Crumbsuckers, The Doomsday Prophecy, The Banner and more, Circus of Steele will perform together for the first time at Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn, NY with Sykosis and Spectral Descent this coming Friday, June 23. Tickets for the 21+ show are $10 and doors open at 9:00pm.

Circus of Steele is currently promoting their new single, "The Downfall" (check out the video here), which just cracked the "Metal Contraband" Top 50 radio charts. The single can be found on the band's upcoming six-track EP, entitled The Zombies Rise, which will hit iTunes in September. The band recorded drums at Graphic Nature Audio in Belleville, NJ (Every Time I Die, Body Count, Fit For An Autopsy) and the remainder of the album was recorded and mixed at Menegroth, The Thousand Caves (Queens, NY) by producer Colin Marston, otherwise recognized for performing with Behold... Circus of Steele was created by Marc Carnivore as a tribute to his late Carnivore brother Peter Steele, as well as a creative outlet for his new original music. After suffering mounting loss and turmoil over the past few years, Marc turned to his new music and performing as an outlet that ultimately brought him to a more positive place.
"For years, I wanted to stage a spectacular tribute to Peter Steele, and now I have the ultimate chance to do so, perpetually," says Marc. "I feel I owe an incredible debt to Peter's legacy, being that his tutelage of my young 18-year-old self, starting as soon as I auditioned for the band, helped me to develop a set of lifelong important skills - not only in music, but in a multitude of ways that still affect many facets of my daily life. So, I came up with the name "Circus of Steele" as a tribute to Peter's legacy, but also as a vehicle for turning my own "death defying" personal demons into metal monstrosities."
