A boy dreaming of flying .. of driving an old timer .. of being a rock star! a girl dreaming of being an air hostess !
Beyond The Labyrinth believe that, when you give someone wings, they can accomplish their dreams After all, the band's motto is : "Conceive, Believe, Achieve".

When (vocalist/guitar player) Wim Nees checked out the songs available for guest singers, he quickly chose "Wings" and one day he showed up at the studio with a bottle of Mojito and recorded a first rough take somewhere after midnight.

The plans to make a video clip about flying and airplanes took shape, and Geert Fieuw (guitars) published a picture on Facebook of him building a plastic model airplane for possible use in the clip ' the first one in over 30 years !. This drew the attention of Sjoerd Bruyneel (keyboards, ex Neo-Prophet) and Geert asked Sjoerd to play a guest keyboard part on the song as well, so the full band started rehearsing the song together on a hot august afternoon ' combined with a booze-overloaded BBQ that lasted well into the night!

The band started bringing ideas together, contacting their friends 'most of them through Facebook ' to try and create and an exceptional video clip true to the spirit of the song, and with a rock'n'roll attitude !

.. for Beyond The Labyrinth, another dream came true as well : Not only did we finally realize the kind of video clip ' biplanes, cool cars, babes and a rock'n'roll attitude ' that we always dreamed of, but both Wim Nees (Vocals, Guitars) and Sjoerd Bruyneel (keyboards) have joined the band as permanent members. Wim and Sjoerd are accomplished multi-instrumentalists with great songwriting skills who will be able to drive BTL into a new future.
