"We are very sorry to inform you that, due to an illness in the band, the [AVENGED SEVENFOLD] concert tonight [Thursday, May 19 at Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas] is being postponed. We're planning to reschedule the date right now and will honor all tickets for tonight's concert on the rescheduled date. Additional information will be posted onVerizonTheatre.comtomorrow. We are so disappointed to be missing our fans in Dallas tonight and look forward to seeing you really soon."

AVENGED SEVENFOLD's fifth album,"Nightmare", has been certified gold for sales of more than half a million copies.

The band is currently on its"Welcome To The Family"headlining U.S. tour, which will wrap up on May 21 at Rock On The Range in Columbus, Ohio.
