Brutal California four-piece Armed for Apocalypse have covered a lot of ground in the past year, having toured the UK three times, played two different stages at Tech-Fest, and criss-crossed the USA, Canada and Mexico. They've just returned from a successful UK/Euro tour with Conjurer, and are about to hit the road for their last tour of the year, with two legs of solo dates along with a clutch of shows supporting Möngöl Hörde, the hardcore band fronted by prolific folk-punk singer-songwriter Frank Turner.
Having toured relentlessly with the likes of Sepultura, Crowbar, Hatebreed, 36Crazyfists and Napalm Death in support of their first two records (Defeat in 2009 and The Road Will End in 2013), A4A dropped the demolishing Palm Reader in 2018, re-announcing their jugular-smashing sludge blended with dextrous forays into deathcore and post-metal melodicism to the world.
Spending much of the past year on the road honing their new material, the band will blast through this final tour of 2019 before gearing up to converge in the studio in 2020 with an as-yet top secret producer to assemble their long-awaited next album.
