British metal trio Absolva reveal the 1st song/video, "Never Back Down", from their forthcoming album "Anthems To The Dead". This track, as well as others on the album, features special guests Doug Scarratt of Saxon on lead guitar and Luke Appleton of Iced Earth on rhythm guitar and harmony lead guitar. "Anthems To The Dead" will be Absolva's 3rd album release, following the debut studio album "Flames Of Justice" (November 2012) and the live CD and DVD "Beyond Live" (September 2013). Their history has been nothing short of prolific, having formed in May 2012, in the wake of Fury UK bassist Luke Appleton joining US giants Iced Earth. A debut show at SOS Festival, plus 3 shows as special guests with Iced Earth were followed by memorable performances at Bloodstock Open Air and Hammerfest in the UK, as well as Wizzfest, Skull Fest, Metal Inferno and Summerrock festivals in Europe. Absolva has subsequently toured the UK and Europe extensively, mainly as a headline act but also as special guests on Michael Schenker's Temple Of Rock and Lovedrive Reunion Tour in France, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.

Absolva's modern take on the art of British metal has attracted a legion of admirers in the press. For example....
